Gentle ~ Hatha Yoga with Colleen
Description: A Hatha yoga class appropriate to all levels and ages that incorporates stretches, strengthening, and gentle flows to increase mobility, flexibility, and strength. Props and modifications are offered to help individuals feel the full benefit of the pose. Meditation and breath work are included to reduce stress and improve feelings of equanimity.

Meet Colleen: Colleen is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance (500 hour RYT certification) and is also a certified Life Coach. She has been teaching since 1999 and has studied yoga with Debbie Stevens, Anna Pittman, Meenakshi Honig of the Integral Institute of Maui, Yoga for Cancer training and completed advanced courses through Asheville Yoga Center’s 300-hour program. Colleen has a gentle approach with students as they explore the many benefits of yoga together. She currently teaches gentle and restorative, chair, beginner and beyond hatha yoga classes with an emphasis on positive psychology, self-awareness, body dynamics, and tuning into one’s connection to the Divine. Colleen loves creating an inviting and nurturing environment where students can learn and practice self-care through yoga.
