We will explore the physical, neurological, mental, and emotional effects of stress. We will use yoga postures, breath work, and meditation to learn how to navigate the stresses of life and come into a better balance.

Sometimes Life seems Hard – hard to do the things you want because it’s hard to find time, hard to make ends meet, hard to be disciplined; then there are hard decisions, hard relationships; and of course you work hard, your try hard….. All real reasons to treat yourself to a time of “Softening the Edges”
Join three friends as they braid their passions and practices together to offer you an enriching experience to ease body, mind and breath and help you harmonize with your heart’s longing for well-being and balance.
Irene Malachowsky, RN will share supportive practices that gently open the doorway between heart and mind, enabling you to live in both your inner and outer worlds simultaneously with greater ease.
Kathy Graham will lead a slow, flowing, suitable-for-all yoga practice, pairing breath with movement to explore the interplay of stability and mobility, contraction and expansion, effort and ease within your body and life.
Sara Elizabeth Knapp will guide Yoga Nidra; a deeply relaxing practice that creates space for and cultivates a sense of inner serenity and clarity and integration of the retreat experience.
